Nathan R. Etten, OD
Board-Certified Optometrist
A native of Wausau, Wisconsin, Dr. Etten has been a Florida resident since 1986. He earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and his Doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. Clinical training included external rotations at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and the Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Nathan Etten has cultivated patient-forward Optometric services in South Florida since 1999. He is a contact lens specialist, adept with customized designs, and he is a member of the Scleral Contact Lens Society. Dr. Nathan Etten has practiced alongside pediatric specialists and is comfortable with complex pediatric cases.
He enjoys all aspects of primary eye care, including pre- and post-operative LASIK and cataract management and the treatment of eye disease.
Dr. Etten is currently an Executive Officer of the Florida Optometric Association. He is a past president of the Miami-Dade Optometric Physicians Association and a member of the American Optometric Association.
